By Mary’s “Yes” to the Angel Gabriel at the Annunciation, the gates of Heaven began their slow swing open. Br. Michael teaches how it was through God’s will and Mary’s fiat, that Heaven was opened for we who believe in Christ, and it is still through Mary that the gate remains open to us.

Mary shows us how to evangelize properly, having recourse to the Holy Spirit and having an unwavering confidence in Our Lord. Fueled by a deep interior life and unshakable confidence in Our Lord and Our Lady, we must go out and reach the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
QUEEN OF MARTYRS
Mary shows us how to suffer and to suffer well. When Jesus was approaching calvary she suffered unspeakable agonies. Yet, she did not stop Jesus from dying on the cross for us, because it was the will of God. Even though this experience was unimaginably painful for Our Lady, she still went through with the suffering because it would bring about the sanctification of the world. She is the example for all martyrs.

Jesus wants us to trust in, and to have a special love for Our Lady. All of the saints have turned to Mary in time of trial and difficulty. QUEEN CONCEIVED WITHOUT ORIGINAL SIN
Since Mary was preserved from the stain of original sin by virtue of the merits of the cross being applied to her at her conception, Mary is the perfect vessel for grace to flow from. She has no imperfections, does the will of God perfectly, and wants to obtain graces for us. We must ask for these graces and have recourse to our loving mother Mary in order to possess the great graces that God wants to give us through her.
